I had intended to keep that socket out the last time I serviced the rear end...just a few weeks ago. I forgot and put everything away and now I don't recall which one I used on it...was an impact socket. Can someone help me out or do I have to remove the left saddlebag just to find out?  Undecided

Not looking for trouble, but I'd rather have stuff with me and not need it....than need it and not have it. I always carry a spare set of bearings and the tools to replace them, a spare u-joint, a couple feet of wire and connectors. And...a small voltmeter along with plenty of spare fuses. So far I've never needed any of it, but the bike is 12 yrs. old now. I also carry a plug n'go for flats, a couple co2 cartridges plus a portable 12v compressor. That flat tire stuff has saved my bacon a couple times.

Yep.
