Well here is what I would do.  Keep in mind the higher in elevation the cooler it will be,
and the less time you spend in Cherokee the less money you will lose.
From home 58 to Cumberland Gap.  Left on 25, leaving Harrogate last red light turn left
on 63 to Sneedville.  (note: watch for fox squirrels, molungons, switch backs, and hills.)
From Sneedville to Rogersville 66.  (I know you have done it but one more time won't hurt.)
Rogersville to Greeneville 70.   About 10 miles out of Greeneville on 70  turn right onto 107.
This will take you through Huston Valley and comes out on 25.  (note: watch for bears).
Turn left on 25 to Hot Springs.  Turn right in Hot Springs on 209 go ½ block turn right into
parking lot,  good place for lunch.  Take 209 to Lake Junaluska, find your way to BRP out of
Waynesville, then south to Cherokee.
Day Two:  Get back on the BRP and go north.  Depending on what time you leave Cherokee
and how many stops you make.  At about 5 in the afternoon you should be close to Meadows of Dan.
(if you ride like me).  In which case you can take 58 or 58 alt home.  If you ride like Joe you
will be closer to Roanoke.  And you can take 311 to New Castle and down 42 to Saltville.
61 from Narrows to Tazewell is a good ride also.  Did I suggest any roads you haven't been on?

Rode BRP from Little Switzarland to Meadows of Dan  and 58 back home not long ago. I like my Day 1 even though we have ridden rt 70 before. I just don't the roads from Cherokee on. Seen pics on here that Joe and others have posted. Thought about the tree house or some water falls. Probably not the Dragon ridding two up.

Frasier in Southeast Tennessee

South on US74 (alt US64) thru Nantahala to Murphy, US64 East to Bridal V Falls to Highlands NC or US64 west thru Ocoee.

Or to Bryson City then over the Cherahalo Skyway to US411 toward Gatlingburg.

If I were picking I would take the Cherahalo Skyway then turn around and return over it.

Yes sir eeee.. Lee Co. is more farmland than mountains but the roads are great. Good twisties, good pavement and very little traffic. Maybe a deer or two but thats ok. I was just thinking the other day about how lucky I am to have such good roads reasonably close to me in about any direction I want to go. Smiley

From Cherokee take 19 to 28 to Tail of the Dragon then across the Dragon to Vonore and south the the Cherola Skyway, back to Robbinsville and then south on 129 to and pick up Waynah road to Franklin and 28 back north to 19. All great roads as are others in the area.
