We are headed out of Twin Falls, ID tomorrow heading generally NE .  When we get to Spearfish, SD, we are going to do a day ride to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Deadwood.  After that, we head to northern MN, then Duluth, then we'll check out the south shore of Superior, the north shore of Michigan, cross the big bridge heading south and finally land in Bellaire on the 14th.
In July of 1975, I did a 3 day ride all the way around L. Michigan on a '74 750K.  It will be interesting to see how things have changed (or not) over the last 35(!!!)years.
Looking forward to seeing lots of friends at InZane.

When you get to spearfish take Spearfish Canyon (worth it). It will wind right around into Deadwood/Lead. From there you can head south to Rushmore. Hit Crazy Horse, Needles Highway, Iron Mnt Rd, and swing up to Rushmore. You can park on the road unless you want to pay $7 to get a little closer. Go early cause you will have a very long day doing this all at once.
