Great Deal on 2001 Wing

A manager I work with approached me last week about a 2001 Goldwing he needs to get rid of.  He has not ridden the bike seriously for about 2 years.  The bike has 40.5K miles on it.  The only imperfections are a scratch and crack on the left mirror and a bent clutch lever...both incurred on a fallover.

We spoke again yesterday and he offered the bike to me for 8K.  I have no room for it...but am going to give it some serious consideration anyway...however if anyone here is interested, I feel it is an awesome deal.

Might want to check if the frame recall was done.Most pre- 04's were involved in it.Kinda hurt resale value........JB.

My 03 Wing was involved in the recall.........Hard to sell with everyone hearing about the frames breaking.Finally sold it to a guy that was going to trike it..........JB.

Not sure about the ABS, I would have to ask him.  The bike is located in Franklin,TN (Nashville)
