I found this Interstate at such a low price that I had to buy it. First is a picture of my 98 Valkyrie Tourer and my new to me 99 Valkyrie Interstate.

That is a really great looking bike I see why you couldn't pass it up.

I/S looks "clean". I like the looks of the "Beetle bags" better than OEM. Look'n good in the neighborhood!! Ride on!

Me too brother.  Me too.

Exactly my story.  My wife asked me if I was buying it to keep, or to sell, I told her I was buying it to keep it eternally for sale.

She likes it now.  A lot better than my standard.  Guess I have 2 now.

Damon, the plan is to paint the bike in the near future. If you look at the bike in person, there are scratches on the tank, saddlebags, and the trunk. I can't have the bike looking like that for too long. While the tins are getting painted, I'll be changing spark plugs and replacing all the fluids. I will order some bling for the bike along with a new shield and a shorty black shield to go along with the SuperValk mod that I will be doing to the bike. I will post pictures when I'm done.       cooldude

That is a GREAT plan.  I almost stole a black IS a few months ago.  I would have had to paint it right away too.
