Is there anyone within a couple of hours drive from N. Bama who has installed an Audiovox cruise control on a Valk before and who would help me install one on my I/S?  I'll come to you and for your help, I can promise good fellowship, undying adoration, and a good lunch and/or supper.   cooldude

Do you have specific questions?  I have installed two of them on our bikes.

my wifes IS was the last one. the control pod mounts in the fairing left side cable exiting out the right side buy the plastic frame cover .. grabed the stop light singal in the fairing on the right side  used a test light to find it ..pulled power from the right sidecover  switched  12vdc.. used a pice of plastic d o t air line to snake the wires under the fuel tank from the front to under the seat hope this helped  i did NOT unhook any carbs or the air box to pull this off look at the photos on how i made the linkage work i doubled up the mounting hardware metal for the cable and hooked up the air vales routed hoses under the seat latch area than one hose to the front fairing area made a vac can out of pvc plastic 1 1/2 and two caps about 2"long some say not needed but i did it anyway  hope this was of some help if ya lived closer i could be of more help  mike b  ps
replace all the hoses while your at it or you will have leak issues   and long needle nose plyers  from harbour fright are a must too along with a long magnet pick up tool to pull the chain across
