Took off Wednesday morning and hooked up with T-Bird in Sweetwater , Tennessee. We crossed The Cherohala Skyline into Deal's Gap, North Carolina.
We hooked up with fellow Valk rider Kendall and Nikki at Deal's Gap...I took some pictures of The Tree Of Shame . It has parts a good 15 -20 feet up the tree now
First picture is a Valkyrie part from " THE " Detn8er's bike when he took his bike swimmin' several years ago.
The Valkyrie's at the motel we stayed at in Maggie Valley.
Few shots from The Blue Ridge Parkway.
These last pictures I took yesterday when I crossed The Great Smoky Mountains on the way home.
Thanks for coming on this ride...Hubcap , Normandog, T-Bird , Big Tom , Kendall

There's still a big (well, you know, relative to "none") hunk of this forest left at Joyce Kilmer forest near Robbinsville. No
chestnut trees, of course, but some
big
poplars and some others...
Thanks for coming on this ride...Hubcap , Normandog, T-Bird , Big Tom , Kendall
Gotta come back and do the other two roads... I'm pretty sure that Walnut Creek won't be covered in horse poo...

On one of the back roads Mike took us on we past a big pine forest with the tallest trees around. It reminded me of the speedster bike chase in Star Wars.
