Does anyone have first hand experience with devices to improve cell signal in a home?

I changed providers....  I had US Cellular, and now use Verizon.

Verizon has more dead spots out in the other areas, but here at home I get a real good signal.......

I've used the mobile ones - both in cradle and proximity and they definitely work at a cost of about $500 CDN installed.  We spent about $6k trying to get signal at the place I used to work and finally sent all the stuff back, guys in service trucks with boosters were getting out of the same area, it was just over 20 miles to the tower.

I have only experienced a few dead spots with Verizon ... in fact I seem to get a pretty good signal wherever I am. My problem with Verizon is their Customer Service .... it SUCKS! Angry   That is why I am thinking about switching to AT&T .... except nobody has the coverage that Verizon has. So my choice is better Customer Service or more Cell Coverage .... not as easy as it seems.

Look up Wilson cell phone boosters.  They have models for mobile and home use.  We run one in western ND out in the boonies hauling crude oil.   It helps.  If there is NO signal, cannot help.  But, it will boost a weak signal. Both receive and transmit.
You would want the home one.
