Howdy Thanks in advance;

  Can anyone tell me if the shocks on all the valkyrie's are interchangeable. Looking to go from a "99" Interstate to a "97" Standard.

I have no direct knowlege of the swap. I do know that many of the members have added Interstate shocks to the standard and liked the results. All the shocks are the same fitment, but, the interstate shocks are made to carry more weight. The people who have done the swap report that the ride is better. Hope this answers your question. cooldude

 How does one tell an Interstate shock from an Standard shock?  If I were to see a set of shocks I wouldn't know which bike they came from.

That's right!  There is no way to tell them apart!

they have different #s on the label. a quick search will bring up the old posts, and try the archives also.
