Mars Attacks! Even though it had a star-studded cast, this movie’s only funny scenes were in the previews and trailer. The rest was just filler in between the 3-4 funny parts.
NO WAY!! I catch this movie evertime it comes on HBO!! Love it!! But, then again, "Judge Dredd" is one of my favorite movies too!!

Setup: My inlaws were (mom's passed) VERY God fearing, church going, tea-totaller, religious folks from down home, southern Indiana. I have NEVER heard my father-in -law use profanity in any facet of his private life. But they had also moved to the big city of Chicago, so were "enlightened" by the Windy City - to a point. Dad loves westerns on TV and the movies. In the mid 70's, due to a criminal threat to neighbors, the FBI contacted them and wanted to use their house for surveillance for an evening, and told them to go to a movie on the FBI. Dad found a western at the theater to go to, so they were off with eager anticipation. Well, there weren't too many REAL Westerns being made anymore in the 70's, not like in former years. Mom and Dad didn't realize the change in the current Hollywood movies. Can you imagine their shock after sitting down to enjoy a good old fashioned Western at the theater and having their senses assaulted by Mel Brook's "Blazing Saddles"? They lasted 20 minutes and walked out of the theater, dazed and confused! To this day, Lady Di and I STILL laugh whenever we think about this. "Blazing Saddles" would have been the complete antithesis of what their expectations of a Western would be. The ultimate surprise! (And fortunately, nothing criminal did take place and the FBI quietly left.) Blazing Saddles would be Dad's pick, but not mine! THAT is a riot!! Thanks for that Doc. Jabba

Uh oh, I must be a tad off - but that should come as no surprise to anyone. I liked a lot of the movies mentioned. YIKES! Well, not Sgt Peppers - that movie did stink.
NOW, I was flipping through the other night and 2008 version of Rambo came on. Now, that movie was a real nose pincher. Stallone is getting too old (and large and square headed) to wear a long haired wig and a rag wrapped around his head and play that part any more.
That really was a movie in the state of P----U !!!!
Oh yeah, another one that came on the other day - the last one with Jeff Farley - Wagons West or East or something like that. That came on. I have tried watching it three times and never got more than about 30 minutes into it.

You're all wrong.
Check out "Cool as Ice" starring one Robert Matthew Van Winkle aka Vanilla Ice.
If you can sit through this movie you will never have to prove your manhood again!

And there I was thinking that I was the only one that couldn't stand Nick. What made Raising Arizona so great was Holly Hunter and John Goodman.

Who could hate a movie with such a good title? Where do you get those cars?

A (dis)honorable mention has to go to "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" (1990) - starring Andrew "Dice" Clay and Wayne Newton. This flick was so bad - it aspired to be "merely" stinky! Terry

Years ago, told my older 2 boys to the movies. They wanted to see a movie called Cabin Boy, I want to see Cool Runnings. A deal was made, we would see both and all decide which was better.
We watched Cabin Boy first, what a piece of crap. Chris Elliot was the star in the movie. Then we went to see Cool Runnings.
Needless to say, we all agreed that Cool Runnings was much better.
