Angry About 120 miles from ground zero, a truck ran a stop sign and nailed me, bike can be fixed, left saddlebag, engine guards etc, trailer I was pulling is multi piece now. need less to say I will not make the event, working on getting back to my truck, and drive back to Flint and load it up, and take the pieces home. I am ok, just bruised up a bit, but madder than a wet cat. really hate missing this event.

OUCH.   Hopefully the sob in the truck will get the invoice for your repairs paid in full - in record time too.

Glad you didn't end up in pieces too.

Just glad you are OK brother.  If you decide to show up in your truck (or PT Cruiser) - they will disqualify you if you enter it in the slow bike game - don't ask me how I know.  I was about the same distance from IZ5 when I totaled my bike.

Seriously, the main thing is that you are OK.  Good luck.  Hope the guy's insurance pays for everything.

Grumpy,I dont know what could be said, other than I'm sure you can find ANY help you need. I can not think of what can be done for you from Kansas but if you can think of it....it's yours! Heartwrenching  story to say the least, but if any one knows how to "ride on" I'm sure it's you. Let the Valkyrie family help, they get a kick out of it  Cheesy . I would recommend that you continue to InzaneX because you know that you will be in good hands once there.  cooldude

Hey everybody, this is Big Rick in Ohio. Grumpy had his truck and trailer parked at my house and after the accident he rented a car back to Dayton Ohio and I picked him up and brought him to his truck. Grumpy seemed like he was ok but real sore in the ribs, He was talking like he would head on to the Gathering after he picked up his bike and trailer.
The people on this board is the main reason I bought my bike, everybody is ready and willing to help at the drop of a hat.

Really appreciate the offer, I did make to Inzane, but unable to ride, hauled the bike here. I am just leery about riding some one's bike. God forbid if some thing would happen to it. Again Thanks for the offer.

Met Grumpy today and looked at his bike and trailer. Once again looks like a repairable item (s). He sure is a tough old bird. If I had a crash like that, I wouldn't be up and around for months. Glad to get the chance to meet you. Maybe see you again on Friday. Hope healing is fast and easy cooldude
