Haven't heard anything from you folks. I knew some from here went and was wondering how it was. Haven't seen any pix. A HD guy told me the numbers were down alot. Rumor is most of the 'bike weeks' will be down this year. Which is good for riding!  Evil

Very slow in some spots. There weren't many vendors at Sunshine Mall but Main Street was busy, at least the two days that we rode up. We went to Cabbage Patch on Thursday evening/night and there may have been 100 people there. On Friday at noon we stopped again on the way to Daytona there might have been a couple hundred people tops. We had fun even if the vendors didn't. I enjoy it a lot more with fewer people. Saw some very interesting people on Main Street on the last Saturday afternoon  Cheesy. Also, Boot Hill had $2 16-oz draft!!!

We went both weekends. Came home to work Monday-Wednesday, we are only 65 miles from Daytona Cool.  Stayed at my sister's condo in Astor which is only 30 miles from Daytona. Seems after as many Daytona bike events we attend the more we like hanging out at the condo on the St. Johns River.   Grin We were back by dark most every night!  angel
Attendance seemed to be pretty good considering. The traffic at Destination Daytona & Main St. was as bad as I have ever seen it but most other places it seemed off a bit. The vendor count was down for sure. Most I talked to said lots of lookers, not as many spenders this year!
We had fun non the less............. cooldude
Halifax River pic.

Went to the Deland Bikefest 1st Saturday.

Saw Tom (sealskiner} hangin' out there.

Hung out by the track 1st Saturday too.

 A woman & her Valk!

Second weekend, actually Thursday, I reached a milage milestone in Daytona.

Went to Willie's Tropical Tatoo to check out the homemade "chopper" show. Didn't find as many of the inline 4 chops as I would have liked to see. Tons of V-twink chops though. Roll Eyes
Found cool inline job anyways.

Went to the Triumph demo truck & had a gander at the new '10 Thunderbird. Nice bike but from what I saw the Valk is safe!  Smiley

Went to Des' new Ultimate seat store a Destination Daytona. Lookin' good! Des said business was down a bit but he expects to do well when the economy comes back.

Second Saturday we rode down to Sebastian Inlet with Kim's brother {who lives in nearby Melbourne} to his favorive biker bar Earl's. Nice place right on the water. Parked across the street right on the water. Nice relaxing 250 miler that day!

Trust me! You wouldn't want to see them  Sad We witnessed the "Shake Your Money-Maker" competition late Thursday night and saw some truely scary-ass women in that lineup  Shocked The least scary of all (an unemployed  "professional" pole dancer) won the thing outright. No, you don't want to see pics from there!
