Couple of Valks in the Shady Valley Country Store parking lot when we
pulled in. Oregon plates on both of 'em. About the time I got unhelmeted
and walked over to take a look, a woman comes out and says that's the
first Valkyrie we've seen since we left Oregon! I said most of them were
in or leaving Michigan! Couple of women riders from
Eugene, OR, that were riding cross country to raise awareness about RA
(see link) Nice ladies that are trying to make a difference. One said she used
to be here but hadn't been on the board in a long time. I invited her back. I
even invited them over to the Darkside! They were interested!! I wish them
well on the remainder of their journey.
