MiVRCC 9th Annual St. Ignace Weekend 2010

Hi Folks now that InZane is in the books its time to get ready for Michigan 9th St. Ignace Weekend. 

On Friday August 20th we will be leaving from Saginaw Mi. and ride along the east side of our State, we follow Lake Huron up to Mackinaw City and then over the Bridge, this is a very scenic day long ride.

Once we check into our hotel we all head over to the VI Inn where we have reserved their banquet room (please let me know your coming, this room has limited seating and is reserved for our participating members). This year they are having a fish buffet set up for us , plus you can still order off the menu.

On Sat. morning we will be heading out on a ride through the U P of Michigan starting at St. Ignace traveling next to Lakes Huron ,Michigan, and Superior (yes a lighthouse is included)  before stopping for dinner at Sault Ste Marie and the Soo locks. Then after a short 58 mile ride back to the hotel...get ready.

Our legendary Sat. evening parking lot party (bring your goofy hats to this one) we also will be cheering on our GWRRA folks that are in town raising money for Children Diabetes ...they have a wonderful light parade which we are welcome to join....
