Hangin' out here beats a tree on the head any day!

Titus, AL

« on: March 23, 2009, 07:13:16 AM »

We'll preride the route one last time the weekend of 10 April. We'll pick up the disounted race tickets at that time...based on our numbers we have registered for the event. We'll sell the OPTIONAL race tickets up top of the mountain Friday night for those interested. We have a deep discount from what the public will be paying....so if you have never seen an AMA Superbike race....this may be just your "ticket" (pun intended!). The same ticket will get you into the vendor area too.

Of course, the largest motorcycle museum in North America will also be there for your viewing!

CUTOFFS

Registration (and registration fee) in my hands - 1 April

Shirt orders (for those desiring shipping after the event also) - 15 April

Git-R-Done!!!
Cheaha is right around the corner!

nope.....i'm just trying to put on a good event. I'm a bit different than many here. TO ME.........it's NOT all about THE RIDE. it's all about....the PEOPLE. the ride....to me, is secondary. The people......are what i come for. I can ride anytime, anywhere. but i can't see all these fine folks...but just a few times a year!

we're just trying to provide a good event....with good careful planning, and a LOT for the little money you pay.

Blue Grey and Cheaha are two completely different "birds". I'm not competing with BG........InZane...........nobody else. I'm just putting on an event folks can gather and have a great time. We have a saying in the military "take care of your people, and your people will take care of the mission". that's my philosophy. I'll take care of the folks that come...give em' a good place to party, great food, great atmosphere, a good ride, safe conditions, etc....and the people will take care of the mission/ride!

93 folks....14 states..........bring it, let's PARTY!!!!!!!!! (and ride a bit too  cooldude )

Well put Tim ! It is always first rate when you are putting it together. Well planed & thoughtout to the last detail. A lot of people owe you alot for the work you do ! I hope you understand that even if alot don't say so. I knowI do.

Damn Timmy-Bob, didn't mean to tickle your feathers there.    I know of other folks who have commented about your get-r-done deals.

They have all said they were TOP NOTCH.

So, understand this, I'll only say it once and then deny I said it if someone corners me..............

I was just a yankin on your chain...........   Not too hard, cause I don't want ya puttin them Guard Dogs on my carcass.........

Enjoy the ridein and hope to see ya somewhere this riding season.

Due to my body getting tired and the rest of me wearing out, I have REALLY curtailed my events this year......  Hope it is only temporary, but I'm afraid, I'm about done riding.   Body can't take it....

Currently trying to get things done on MGM so as to transfer ownership over to my son.   The Trike, want to put disc brakes on it before my youngest daughter gets the title and registration.........  I can't hardly ride the Trike across town without getting into a lot of pain and uneasiness.    Only way I will do InZane 9 is in the Truck........    Too far for the Trike and I to go together............  Too much exertion to load and unload MGM from the trailer, so, I'll probably miss this one.

My old collapsed lung has also come back to haunt me.....  Can't get enough air and or oxygen.    Next phase will be to tow a oxygen tank around with me......   They might as well shoot me and bury me before that happens.

i figured you was yankin' my chain    crazy2

I was just sayin' something that really....those who know me WELL...already know. i really do come to ALL the events i go to....to see the people...and party with them. oh, i do some riding too, but not nearly as much as many do. I do most of my GOOD riding....alone or just with Sherry....or with just a few close friends.

But then....I trailer to most events too. And some folks can't leave that alone either  2funny   But frankly, i could care less what THEY think. It's what makes me and Sherry happy that matters to me. And for her, she wants to bring the dogs....or she doesn't want to go. And....after a terrible horse accident years ago...where she fractured her back in three places...riding long distances is TORTURE for her. So we don't do ANY long rides...together.

once or twice a year i'll ride to some event....just to mess with folks minds  Cheesy  But again, for me, it is NOT that ride gettting there that matters. It's spending quality time ONCE I'M THERE....which may or may not include some good riding "on site".

Heck, three years ago.....when IZ6 was in CO...i didn't even have a bike with me. I flew in....drove with Dave R in a rental car anywhere we needed to go.....worked on Staff most of the time.....and had a GREAT time.

that was my whole point. I respect those that it's all about the ride.........but for me, it will always be............all about the PEOPLE!!!!!!!!  I'm strange that way  uglystupid2

Just hope i can still ride some....and party lots....when i'm in my 70s!!!!!!!!!!!!
