or anyone else with knowledge of truck stops near knoxville tn. my son is currently in lexington, ky going to fla. and is having problems pulling a trailer. do truck stops in this area sell 4 to 6" drop hitches for a reese hitch. he thinks by lowering  the ball the trailer will ride better. You can find hitches (dropped too) at Tractor Supply or even some Wal Marts. Good luck !!!

I just called Northern Tool and they have both in stock 4 inch is $17.99 and 6 inch is $22.99 ...This is just off I-75 in Knoxville  you can just about hit it with a rock from I-75.Phone # and address is in the link below.If I can help in anyway let me know...Joe

thanks joe, he picked one up around 530pm yesterday and the trailer rode much better. lost a piece of the drivers side leaf spring around 3 so it wasn't soon enough lol! he said northern tool was an easy on off and a guy in the parking lot had to use a 3' pipe wrench to get the old ball off of the other hitch! cooldude
