When's the next event? Next ride?
Is it time for the 2nd Moonless Midnight Ride yet? I'll volunteer to lead it. I'm thinking of going to Denny's in Paris or Greenville.

Either next Friday 7/30 or Saturday 7/31
Could also do it a week later 8/6 or 8/7.
But I'm leaning more towards next week, Saturday 7/31. Then we can sleep in a bit on Sunday.

I led a moonless midnight ride in July of 2008 east on 380, north on 69 and then west on 82 to Sherman where we invaded a Denny's. Must have had 14 bikes with us that night. On the way back, we stopped and turned off everything while in the boonies and looked at the stars, which were incredible with no city lights. Then got stopped in Prosper as our tailgunner gOld Wing was too flashy for the local Barney Fifes. It was a fun run. Not a lot of twisties at night - we gotta' go pretty straight.

Ya' know... The resorts and high dollar golf courses, places like Disney World and the like, would prolly pay you a LOT more to NOT come visit then the farmer's would pay you TO visit...

OK. Route Plotted. The Paris Denny's is closed. So changed to Tyler. About the same distance except more lake crossings. Will be a new topic. 7/31 ride.
