It could be a clone, but it is deffinately based on the Honda IMHO. Thanks for the photo evidence!  cooldude
It reminds me of the third Herbie Love Bug movie, where the car was covered in Bananas. I think the title of the film was "Herbie, Goes Bananas" or something straight forward.

I looked at a ton of Cub 50  and 90 pics and didn't see one with the same forks or turn signals.  I think its Chinese, they've been known to knock off the Big Four pretty closely.
 
The stretch doesn't have anything to do with the thread, but I thought you'd get off to it.
