I have a beautiful "98" Standard Valk with 47,000 miles. Does the oil in the front forks need to be changed at any specific interval?? I can't seem to find this info anywhere and I should have just gone to the tech board first. If the oil does need to be changed can someone please provide an explanation of how to go about it. Thanks for your help.

most do it at 50k. I changed out to progressive springs and amsoil fork fluid at 8k. There was metal paste/dirt at the bottom of the tubes. next change of oil for me will be 60k.
go to shoptalk and there is tech for changing out the springs. u will need the fork tool and service manual.
