We had 4 bikes and a trike leave the hood this morning for a ride to Hot Springs. We had a great ride and got to take a short ride across Hwy.209 with Normandog and Carolina Girl for lunch. The Harley trike that was with us belongs to Al a guy from New Mexico who is doing some work in Oak Ridge,Tennessee. He was having a problem with the exhaust falling off it a couple times.

Big Al and Lucky 13 got him took care of on the second stop.

I did'nt take many pictures today however I took this one before meeting up with the other riders this morning on The Clinch River in Clinton, Tennessee.....

I believe Al's Trike a harley Sporster.

Needs the right nuts put back on it , which we did.

The lower back stud will need to be rethreaded with a die to make it right.

Someone had forced course thread nuts of the same size onto the fine thread studs.

The front ones were fine and one of the rear ones was perfect, you don't see many fine

thread bolts on a manifold, but fine SAE Threads are stronger than course.

He also needs to look into a bracket to strengthen his long pipes out the back of that

trike.

Most Harley's except for mine have thier manifold bolts come loose as hard as we

ride anyway.

Kind of a testing ground.

Until next time , keep her pointed into the wind and let the bolts fall where they may.

I believe Big Dave likes his new Valkyrie Joe.

He is already cracking jokes about , Friends don't let friends ride Harleys.

his last bike was a Harley, he may be bit by the Valkyrie Bug.

Damn...you're not just kdding, that is an awesome shot.  Don't know if it was intentional or just an accident, but that shot against the fog in the background is very well done!

Possible Calendar material?
