Ok. . . I admit I’m not the sharpest knife in the internet drawer, but I’ve been searching for the last hour trying to find a wiring harness to fit my Valk/Trailer set up and have come up with nada! I’m looking for a 5 into 5 plug & play. I can wire, and will just run the wires directly and buy a plug at Autozone, but I would prefer to find a 'set up' ready to be quickly hooked in. I found plenty of 4 into 5 converters at all the usual sites, but my trailer has separate tail/brake & blinkers on the back and a five wire plug as a result.  Anyone know of anyone selling a harness to fit this set up? Thanks!

If you were down here I'd have you ride over to the Schmidt house  Wink  and we'd wire one up easy.....using the OEM size bullet connectors. We would have to send the women off to lunch somewhere for  2-3 hrs. while we do it. When are you headed this way?

I'm not much help to you from 1300 miles away.

Responded to your PM...

In a nutshell.... this:

http://www.electricalconnection.com/wire-harnesses/hrns-trailer.htm

You won't get what's pictured... you need the 07660 Relays and the 07663 Universal Harness. If you have any questions as to my long reply in the PM, let me know. I wouldn't direct wire if I were you, I would use an isolator...cheap insurance IMO.

Thanks ptgb. It's a great help! I'll be ording the stuff tomorrow  cooldude

Hey John! If I was down there brother, I'd take you up on the offer. I'm bummed about missing the InZane in my own backyard, but some health issue came up at the last minute. It was either not ride and drive the Yukon up, or stay home and finish some projects and whine about not going. I chose unwisely . . .  uglystupid2

We won't be back down until Jan. We 'may' come down yet this fall to drop off some stuff (possibly my bike again) We will difinately make plans to do some riding with you again - but NO chocolate shopes!! I just hope it isn't too cold in Jan and Feb for you sensitive Florida folks.
