First Avon Tire

Installed my first ever Avon Cobra on the Interstate, had a low speed wobble. No more wobble (Thanks Ricky-D) satisfied with short ride to test front handling. Running 41-42psi, now I can put her back on the rack and change the rear. Think I'll go D...... naugh.
Been running E3's until now.

Been thinking about trying DS on my Tourer, but still undecided.

You'll get a hundred different opinions about tires here
I've been running Avons for 8 years on my Standard. The first year of 'Valkdom" was spent limping along with the OEM Dunflops. I run 42 in the front and 45 in the rear with the Avons. My last front tire got 28,000 miles and still had a little left, but I was going to Tenn. to ride the Dragon and wanted to make sure it was a trouble free ride (it wasn't, but it had nothing to do with the Avons!) The rear was at 18,000 when I ran over some metal crap and had to replace it. IMO - I don't care for the handling of the Avons in the rain when the tires are over-inflated and if I'm caught in any serious stuff, I stop and lower the air in both. Have fun!

I did 10k mi on the DS and came back... Different strokes for different folks. I like the Bridgestone BattleAx 200/60.
