This may be a stupid question, but...

I registered for both boards (VOAi & VRCC) in May of this year. I notice that quite a few of you guys visit and post on both sites. I also realize that the VOAi has membership dues in addition to registering to be able to post, while the VRCC does not, at least not that I can find. Undecided

I want to support the organizations that I belong to and hope to become more active in. Once I get to Florida again in November through April, I have only my Valk and am not distracted by my activities that I have in CT with my HOG buds and Chapter.

Is there a relationship between both organizations? If not, are most of you also dues paying members of the VOAi?

Thanks in advance

No, no relationship.

The VOAI is the original Valkyrie Club.  It is a club, as in dues paying members, who run the club.

The VRCC came into being about 2 years later.  It has no dues.  It is owned by several individuals, not by the members.

I belong to both.  I wish them both the best.  I have been to the last three Reunions of the VOAI, and the last three Inzanes by the VRCC.  Ever since I got my Valk three years ago!

Love them both.

I hope they both "live long and prosper!"

+1 what MP said

I am the NY rep for both and I cant imagine my life without either club or the FAMILY I have become a part of that populates BOTH clubs

The only difference for me is that on a VRCC ride I cant keep up with Joe and on a VOAi ride I cant keep up with Taz ( and I was doing triple digits with my wife on the back seat in colorado and still he was pulling away from me on the ride to Glenwood Canyon)  SWMBO wont let me do that anymore tickedoff  we are smell the roses riders now

The 20 bucks is basically to keep the lights burning for the website as the VOAI does not have the number of supporting vendors that this club has.  I think the cost of attending the VOAi rally was 15 bucks and it was more for Inzane ( at least 20 bucks more so its even in my mind)

Also keep in mind that you can post on the VOAI forum without paying the dues. It is good for the club, however, if you keep up with the $20/year to help pay web expenses. The VOAI is a registered not-for-profit and, as such, depends upon club dues to keep the website running.

I'm a member of both and hit both the VOAI Family Reunion and InZane this year. I had a blast and felt totally welcome at both. You ride in and it's like you've been friends with everyone for years, even if it's your first time!

I hope both are around for a long, long time.

Thanks to all of you that answered my post. That is exactly the information I was looking for. I plan to sign up and become a dues paying member of the VOAi now that I understand what's up.

Thanks again!!!  cooldude cooldude cooldude
