I know, I know, Valkyries don't leak oil!  I have a leak on the rear case gasket (no it's not the shifter seal).  Anyone else ever had this problem?  It seems to be on both sides and I can see oil residue on the gasket surface.  I don't really want to tear into it, I haven't tried torquing the bolts yet because many are hard or impossible to get to.  I see in the Honda manual that there are two places sealant is applied to.  Can't tell if it's leaking from there.  Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

I had a main drive shaft oil seal leak but that's an easy fix...(more or less). You might make sure it's not leaking there and running down...or blowing back from the shifter shaft seal...

I first noticed this when I had my exhaust off and had a better view of the casing.  It is definitely not coming from the shifter seal.  There is oil mid case and above on the gaskest.  Don't think it's coming from anyplace lower.

You need to clean it real good and then watch for it.

It's senseless to assume it's leaking from here or there, or not from here or there!
