My god.... who really cares what time it is and what the temp is when you are riding.  You should be paying attention to the road anyhow.  Besides....  I know if it's too cold or too hot to ride and don't need some gingerbread to tell me.  I wear a watch, so my bikes don't have to....

I think youll find these a bit cheaper and they work well and look great. I have them in the bolts that hold the master cylinder and the clutch master. I ride my bike every day and Sundays too its so much easier when your late for church to see the just how late. Plus with how hot its been down here the temp allows me to see how hot it is so I know how long it will take me to cool down.Not associated just a good product.

I got a large face LED clock from the Dollar store and a thermometer from Pepboys. Left me enough money to buy a compass as well.

I like the clock idea but something else has to go in that thermometer hole--I leather up and wear a full face helmet every time I ride and I don't wanna know how hot I am. . . Maybe a barometer? Altimeter? Anemometer?  Sphygmomanometer? I DO have CAD, you know. . . Oooh! I know! A Depth Meter for those Death Valley and Dead Sea rides!!

Exactly PAVALKER....a friend of mine has an 1800 Wing that is now triked.  Now, them things have more buttons and switches than a Cesna already!!  He has added two GPS units, 4 extra mirrors, Sirrius radio and a camera mount.  You cannot count the buttons, then your eyes get sore looking at mirrors and display screens......I sure hope he doesnt talk on his cell while hes riding.

How about a Hygrometer? I can get one of them, instead of the thermometer. At least you can see if you are sweating...

I don't wear a watch much, because I don't like the tan line. I used to wear one all the time, and had a nice, white patch. Then, rode a scooter across the desert, without one on. Blistered, and took a LONG time to heal!

I don't like the handlebar ones at all. AT ALL! I do like the windscreen mount, though. And as I have a pretty decent machine shop, I'll be making a few of them. I was just commenting that evidently there are SOME people, that like them a lot.

I'm not a chrome-type guy - I MUCH prefer the look of buffed and polished aluminum - case in point, I'm polishing a set of cam covers right now, as to me, too much chrome looks "cheap". But that stems from years ago, when our shop did a 'Vette show car for a lawyer - every few days he'd come in wanting something else chromed. In the end, I think the only thing NOT chromed, was the body. He was "buying" trophies. But our shop car was a Datsun 510, with every single piece of aluminum - head, tranny, etc, etc, was hand sanded and polished aluminum. Done by hand, thousands of hours, was amazing, yet never got any 2nd looks. That's when I realized people can be more impressed by money, than by effort and elbow grease.

Sorry for being so loquacious - but if you see a Valk, with clock and temp on the windscreen, it just might be mine...

The I/S has a clock in the dash, I have a hoodie in the trunk. How about coolant temp, oil pressure and temp? I/S tank? get a fuel guage...
