Hello
I'm looking for a nice leather sissy bar/ trunk bag. I'm currently using a large nylon T bag that has seen better days. My saddle bags are boss leather, so I would like to make my trunk bag leather also. I want it to look GOOD, and also be pratical.
  thanks

Don't know what you have in mind, but this one, for the money, seems pretty decent. Haven't gotten mine yet. In 40 years of riding, one of the things I've learned is that bags take a beating, and with few exceptions, a very expensive bag, lasts about as long as an inexpensive bag. Plus, I don't get really pi$$ed when it rips from something sharp inside, or manages to blow off, when I forget to fully attach it (OK, I've DONE that!!).

If you're looking for more of a permanent/semi-permanent mounted leather styled trunk, these are the options that I've found so far that I'd be interested in buying (with the last one the one I'm planning on buying)......

I like the Bossbags.......

It's even lockable.  It has a little hasp that you can put a small padlock on it to lock it.  And the best part, it comes in three different sizes.  And you can get them with or without the side pockets....with or without studs.  The pics I posted are the largest of the three styles available from Bossbags.

LeatherLyke makes a couple of different trunks as well......

http://www.leatherlyke.com/stores/showdetl.cfm?&DID=13&CATID=6&ObjectGroup_ID=21&OBS=4&Move=Prev&count=3&Pcount=4

You can get them with or without a backrest......depending on if you want to use your OEM backrest or not.  The LeatherLyke's are lockable also.

Here's a couple of videos of a bike with a LeatherLyke trunk.....the guy also mounted the Mustang saddlebags on his bike (not a Valk).  It'll give you an ideo of size and scale.

More of a bag instead of a trunk, Mustang offers a few choices.......

But that's not what I'm looking for for myself.....I'm looking for more of a trunk than a bag.

This is the one I like even better than the Bossbags or LeatherLyke trunks...this is the one I'm planning on buying.....

It's a Harley Tour Pak.  P/N 53209-09.

Like the LeatherLyke, it comes with a back rest pad for the rider....so you won't need to use your OEM backrest....just your luggage rack to mount it on.

It's way more $pendy than the others, and I've seen them listed on ebay cheaper than the ebay link that I posted, but not by much, however, I still like it better.  It doesn't lock, but you can buy a lock kit for it......

I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to
