WTF
« on: August 07, 2010, 06:00:05 PM »

As most of you know I was t boned by a pickup on the way to Inzane in Saginaw,Mi.  The other drivers fault, he blew a stop sign, I was on a through street.  My insurance Co called me Friday to let me know he was filing a law suit against my insurance co. for damages. What the He%%, his fault and he wants to recover damages from me, wish I lived closer, would give him an attitude adjustment. tickedoff

On the good side, bike is repaired, just waiting on the saddle bag lids, HDL sent the wrong color first time. ANd talk about luck, I managed to score a new set of Hondaline saddle bag rails, I did not think any existed and more. cooldude

Also here in Arkansas, you can be sued even if it is the other guys fault.  Sucks!  tickedoff

Yep, he got a ticket. Amazing what some people will try, of course some sleaze bag lawyers will try any thing for a buck.

Michagan is a no-fault state. That means your insurance pays your repair no matter whos fault ?

Sounds like he is suing your insurance not you.  The Insurance Co lawyers will take care of it.  BTW, I know you probably know this having been in an accident but...many do not know that in Michigan when it comes to any accident between a car and Motorcycle the car insurance is required to pay the medical bills of the Motorcyclist regardless of fault.
