Getting shed of those no longer wanted tattoos is possible.
But it may hurt more than when you got them in the 1st place.
So be sure you want that TaT before you get inked up for the road.
Here is a nice little video of tattoo removal.

A tattoo over it would have been neater. Is the laser removal going to leave that burnt outline? if so, then a tat over would have looked better in the end. Oh well. I knew that this possible, but I have never watched it. That was cool.

That looks like it sucks but when I was in the Navy in the '60s, a fellow shipmate got married and was told to get rid of his ribald tat on his shoulder by his SO. Back then, it was multiple surgeries removing the center of the tat, letting it heal, then cut/heal multiple times until it was gone.

And don't forget that it usually cost 10 times what you paid for that tat to remove it.

I used to build the lasers that are used for that procedure. Never used one, or had one used on me, though. I remember they're pretty powerful, with large amounts of energy in each pulse. Wouldn't really want to get hit with it.
