Italian Mom Reports Topless Sunbather for 'Troubling' Her Young Sons
Updated: Thursday, 12 Aug 2010, 9:02 AM EDT Published : Thursday, 12 Aug 2010, 9:00 AM EDT
(NewsCore) - A topless sunbather in Italy was questioned by police after a mother-of-two complained that the way she was applying suntan lotion was "troubling" her young sons, The (London) Daily Telegraph reported late Wednesday.
The mother initially asked the 26-year-old sunbather, an assistant in a fashion store identified only as Luisa, to cover herself up as she bathed on a public beach at Anzio, south of Rome.
The woman refused and so officers were called in.
A police spokesman in Anzio said: "The patrol went and took her details and she argued, still topless, that she could see no harm in what she was doing as it was a public beach.
"We have opened a file on committing an obscene act as we are committed to following the complaint. From what I heard she was very attractive."
The mother reportedly told police her sons, aged 14 and 12, were "troubled" by the woman's ample breasts and the way she was rubbing cream on her body.
Lawyer Gianluca Arrighi said: "Let's be clear, my client is tall, brunette and has an ample breast and is therefore going to naturally be sensuous when she applies cream to her chest.
"This may well have attracted the attention of the women's two sons but it should not lead to my client being convicted. She is amazed that she is being condemned for simply sunbathing topless."

I could think of several words to describe their reaction to the topless sunbather, but troubled would not be one of them. And PICS would help to get a better understanding of the situation.

I could stand to be horrified a little. Looks like a ride trip to Anzio, who's with me?

I'd say the boys were happily pitching tents and texting pics to their friends and their mom was "troubled".

Finding gas mid-ocean might be a bit problematic though.
