Hey thanks for the kind words and thoughts Joe and Al.

Actually, it went a lot better than I thought.  I've been getting chemo off and on for the better part of six years but it was always the same drugs which seemed to have little or no physical effects.  However, it was tearing up my blood so I had to go to something else.

I got a lot of doom and gloom and even gave up a weekend club ride to Balsam Lake with Duffy and the gang to give respect to this new treatment.

Bottom line is I pretty much took this chemo like the last and even led a 12 bike ride over 250 miles through North Georgia and Tennessee today.  Heat ate me up but, other than that, so far so good.

A side story.....for some reason, allergic reaction I think, they gave me a Benedryl drip for three hours with my chemo so I was high as a kite the whole time.  I would have gotten a dui if I would have been pulled over on the way home.

Going to have to get a ride next time. uglystupid2
