Rode to the Norris Dam today on Lake Norris, Norris Dam was completed in 1936, and named after

a Senator of the Same Last name of course.

TVA Dam System was built to power the Tennessee Valley and provide flood control as well.

Chattanooga Tennessee, flooded almost every year before TVA was formed.

SmokinJoe and a few others I know work for this outfit to this day.

Lucky 13's Grandfather was killed during construction of the Norris Dam.

I love Norris Lake and have myself caught a 49LB, Rock Fish or Commonly called Striped Bass on

that Lake.

Today I just walked the 2.2 mile walking trail below the dam, Known as SongBird Trail.

It was cool below the Dam and a nice commume with nature.

Rode ole Blue today, my 2007 Harley.

Got a few compliments as well, here is a video of the Dam Spilling over in 2009.

Tennessee dams played a major part in our winning the war in the pacific by providing vast amounts of electricity for rare metals production and the manhattan project in oak ridge and other secret locations

Glad to hear you're back on the scooter. Or scooters as the case maybe. Smiley
