It was fun, but very hot.  Looking at the forecasts, it's not going to be getting any better soon, either.

Good food, good friends, good bikes -- and oppressive heat.  It was a good day.

Happy Birthday (tomorrow) to you .... glad we could spend part of the birthday weekend with you!

Just wanted to say that Denise and I had a great time today inspite of the heat. Good friends, good food and a great ride. It was great to see yall and to meet  several new friends. We took the long way home and stopped by a small lake and cooled for a while and then on to my moms in Liberty for a short visit. We're looking forward to see yall again wed. in Katy. cooldude

Guess it's a good thing we went today after all.  I was looking at a weather forecast site, and one or two days next week the heat index is expected to be around 122!!

A/C and fans are running, and I'm finally comfortable.

We had a great time! Thanks for letting us join in.  Yeah it was HOT, HOT, HOT!  But it was a fun ride.  I learned a lot of tips on how to deal with the heat from everyone.  It was a great surprise for Eli (99 Red Diamond) to meet us at the ferry.  Dodis planed a non-freeway ride back home.  That was much better than I-10.  Hope everyone had a safe trip home.

Thanks,
BJ & Jimmy

Happy Birthday to Flamingo Babe. As was said, the food good, the weather hot, but you all were surely very "Cool". Good to see Jimmy and Miss BJ again and a pleasure to meet everyone else. Looking forward  to the next one.

Sounds like a great time had by all, us included! Great food and a great (HOT!!!) ride! Great to see those we've met and meet more VRCC friends!

FB, happy Birthday! Glad we could start the celebration early for ya!

And I had planned in advance to get home without going HWY 10, I don't like driving that stretch in my truck!
And I wasn't about to go wait in the ferry line in the afternoon to get back either!  crazy2

Once again, great ride! Let's do it again, when it's about 10-15 degrees cooler!!!

That was my first thought!

But, my full handle-name comes from an old supervisor, with a strong Hispanic accent "Here Mike, dodis...". Then when we first started using CAD in our office, I was officially given the full name of "DODIS.DAT", of which I just go by my 'first name'...

Better than his other favorite saying "Dis ain't worst a damn!"

Plus, I want her to make her own choice...  angel

Mike,

Tell Nancy I gave myself 'BJ Hay' just too associate myself with Hayhauler,  but I figure it will change later IF I earn another name.  I decided I had to start somewhere. Smiley
