Called them and the conversation went something like this:

MS:  Good morning, Memphis Shades...

D:  Good morning, I need to speak with someone in Customer Service, please.

MS:  How can I help you?

D:  Well, I bought my batwing fairing in the spring, and while washing it last Sunday after a couple of long rides, I found the top left fork tube bracket has broken.

MS:  I'm sorry to hear that.  If you'll give me your name, address, phone number, and tell me what kind of bike it's mounted to, I'll ship a replacement out to you today.

Just like that!  No fumbling around.  No "you need to go through who you purchased from".  No "let me connect you with our warranty department".  Good job, Memphis Shades.   cooldude

Not much of that to be found anymore, I have had the same type of service lately from two other companies that come to mind. Although not motorcycle related. Hunter Douglas , and Moen. cooldude

I have a friend that was involved in an accident were the windshield side piece was bent and damaged beyond use.  We contacted Memphis Shades and was told that the part could not be purchased through any of their distributors but if we would send them a check for the amount indicated for the part made out to St. Judes Children's Hospital (located in Memphis, TN), they would send the part out as soon as the hospital indicated the check had cleared.  There was no money made by Memphis Shades on that transaction.  There have been several "attaboys" listed on this forum and others about their service.  I say...their service is OUT STANDING!!!

I too had a great experience with Memphis Shades. I ordered the batwing fairing and when it arrived a corner of the fairing had cracked through and broken off. I called them and they sent out another one no questions asked. They just asked me to destroy the first one.
By the way I have a slightly damaged M/S fairing free + shipping if there is someone handy out there who can fix it.  Smiley

I find the oem shield offers alot better wind protection then my batwing. With the b'wing I get alot more wind into the chest. Comes from below. Alot more rain in the face to. With the oem I could ride 8 hrs in the rain with a bandana around my face without it getting wet. Now its soaked in 10 miles. If it wasnt so stable at high speeds and cut the high winds so good, i'd go back to the shield.

I have to recommend the Memphis Fats (on my 99 standard).

I haven't needed their customer service (hope I never do), but it sounds GREAT. Sounds like they intend to be around for a long time.
