Hey to ALL ! Does anyone know where I can purchase a STUDED PASSENGER SEAT COVER for a 1997 Honda Valkyrie Standard??? I have a new Honda Studded stock seat & I cannot find a cover for my passenger seat. All I want is a cover & not a new passenger seat. There is a company ( and I know I cannot mention their name ) out there that sells covers but I would have to buy the driver seat cover to get the passenger seat cover. Since I do not need a cover for the driver seat it would not be practical for me to buy it that way. The passenger seat & the sissy bar pad are in excellent condition except for the cover material. It would cost me $99.00 that way & I would be buying something I do not need. I also want a cover for the sissy bar pad. The sissy bar pad sells for $30.00 so I figure the passenger seat cover should cost about the same. Can anyone help me with this delima? Thanks in advance. tommy t IBA 1990

Tandy Leather sells the studs for about $6 for 100. And you can push then in and bend the prongs with you thumbs.
Of course you will have to remove/reinstall the cover and mark where to place the studs.
After bending them with my thumbs, I place them on a hard surface and tap the prongs with a small hammer to set them into the hollow base for ease of replacing the cover.

Hey Black Dog... Just got a reply back from them stating it is a one piece unit...?? seems weird to me. Did not sound freindly in their reply. May be just me though. When I talked to their sales person the other day he was totally unfriendly. Sign of the times I reckon. Thank you for the info. tommy t IBA 1990

Went to HONDALINE & found the WHOLE sissy bar pad for $35.95 which is FAR better than just buying a cover for $30.00. Now all I need is the Pasenger seat. Hooooraaaay!!! I am going to contact my local M/C dealership & see if they can find one for me. tommy t IBA 1990

Well, I called my dealership here with no luck. The Bike is 13 years old & I can understand that. I then called Dillon Brothers. The salesman there saw the part but did not have it. He gave me the part number & looked it up on the Internet & found a place that showed they have it in stock. He gave me their telephone number & I called them. They have a brand new one still in the original box & has never been opened. I am sending them a check & they are going to ship it out to me ASAP. Cool, eh? So, that takes care of that. Ride safe ALL. tommy t IBA 1990

If you are still needing he passenger cover I might have a deal for you. I could be interested in the drivers cover so we could look at splitting it. Drop me a PM and we can discuss it.

Hey TYBME. I alrerady ordered one today from a different company. I received an e-mail from the company that sells the covers & they stated that it is now a one-piece cover...not individual for the driver's seat & the passenger seat. Real Bummer!!! I have done business with them on four different motorcycles but I never will again. Sorry to say that I won't be able to help you on this one. tommy t IBA 1990
