almost like flying a Airplane,

The pitch , roll , and yaw is all there when you ride a Valk and the P51 is my absolute favorite plane.

Leading into why that is , it was the first fighter plane that could follow our bombers all the way to target and back.

Made the bombing runs a little less insane because they then had fighters to escort them through

enemy territory in WW II.

Here she is the P-51

Thanks Oss, and that is one beautiful sight with those Planes flying over the Statue of Liberty

given to us by France to Enlighten the World about Freedom .

Look,,,,,,,,, is that the Trade Towers in the Back Ground?

Wish they were still there.

And those 3 thousand or so good people, were still with us. Cry

May the Wings of Liberty never lose a Feather. cooldude

So let me be the first to wish you have a happy birthday Big Al

Last year I walked thru the B17 and the 24 and it was some experience

piloting one of those P51's is something I hope to scrape up the nerve to do one day as I have been up in the air in a one and two engine plane and in the front seat of the twin engine one.  The one engine plane engine died at 8000 feet but we coasted to the airport.

Any time you can use the plane again thats a good landing is what the pilot said   Lod Airport Israel in 1972

Big Al, did you know that the P-51 was made by Beechcraft?  It must be, because I have a friend who says, "Look at that Son-Of-A-Beech go" every time that he sees a P-51 fly by...JTL  2funny
