I stopped last Saturday at the local Honda Shop here in Houston and bought my usual can of aresol Honda spray polish and cleaner.     I laid it in the passenger seat.  I came out yesterday to my truck and the can had EXPLODED in my truck and polish/wax was all over everything.   When the bottom of the can shot off it ripped about a 3" tear in my seat that you can now see all the way to the foam underneath.     Be carefull about direct sunlight on those cans in  this heat.  on the can itself is a warning to not store in over 120 degrees Farenheight.  I wonder if it might have blown out the windows had the front windows not been rolled down about 1/4" on each side.

My car's thermometer has been showing 112-113 inside with all the windows cracked!   Shocked    Undecided   Even my sunglasses kept inside the console are too hot to put on immediately when getting inside the car. tickedoff

LOL!  I can feel the love coming from Arizona.   Grin

RP, you're missing a few beautiful entries in your riding map.  To mind comes Arkansas, Upper Michigan, and the Pacific Northwest.

I'm going to do my best to provide you the opportunity to remedy at least one of those oversights.

I think I heard the other day that we're on our 70 somethingth day of triple digit temps.  Fortunately we have had too many above 110 this year.   I do need to get those blank states filled in.  I was hoping to get Michigan filled in this year but Cheryl was getting her hands operated on for carpel tunnel in July (of all things, doctor said she got it from being on crutches after her knee and foot operations).  I've about got her all rebuilt now so we should be good to go next time around.

We had a can of off blew up onetime laying on the dash of a 69 chevy truck. It took out the windshield and put a large dent in the metal dash up by the defroster vent. And yes it too was in TEXAS.

Sorry for the thread hijack, but you're quite right, Charlyne, there is some fine riding to be had in northwest Arkansas.   cooldude
