We went to the Palisades (Colorado) peach festival this weekend. It's about 200 miles from home.  We didn't take the Valk because we didn't think we could pack 150 lbs of peaches on it and still have room for Mrs. Elraque and me.  Sad

Parked near the festival entrance we saw a lovely "baby black" interstate... just wondering whose it is?  Undecided Roll Eyes

BTW, we're back home, and the peaches are outstanding. The canning process will begin tomorrow. Mrs. Elraque cans some GGGRRREEEEAAAAATTTT peaches!  Cool Ya gotta love a woman who can cook! Kiss

We have a box of Palisades peaches on order to be delivered this coming week.  They are the best!

It always a great day when you learn something new.  Being a southerner I just assumed that peaches only grew well in Georgia and South Carolina.  Looks like a pretty good peach crop there in the Colorado Rockies!
