I take spells where I watch the same type of film back to back. Last weekend was a pool shooting movie weekend. Within the span of the week I had watched "Color of Money" "Shooting Gallery" and "Pool Hall Junkies" and would have made time for the classic Johnny Cash "Baron and the Kid" but I have to take naps sometime.

I'm feeling like a Biker Movie weekend sometime soon. I've been eye-ballin' the DVD rack. I have a nice collection of cheap DVDs featuring such classics as "Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town," and real classics like "C.C. & Company" although they really do have their similarities don't they?

Might be time to add something new alongside of "Murdercycle" on the DVD rack shelf.
If they could just release "Along Came Bronson" the complete series on DVD that would fix situations like this where I want hours and hours of biker movies with hours and hours of a biker tv show that I've only seen in pieces.

So what would your favorite Bikesplotation film be?

That movie made me laugh more than once, greta cast of actors!
From an educational stand point i like "Worlds Fastest Indian" , pretty amazing to take a bike that old and make it go 200 MPH with almost no money to do it! cooldude

TimeRider-The adventure of Lyle Swann, is interesting, dirt bike desert racer, transported back into time. Of course it has a time travel twist at the end.
The story was written by michael nesmith of the Monkees fame.

The Wild One - brando.  Picked it up at a dollar store.

Tron - for the short motorcycle scene

My son likes Ghost Rider.  The bike Nicholas Cage rides looks just like Peter Fonda's bike in Easy Rider.  (There's flames on the tank instead of the American flag.)  Fonda, who plays the devil in Ghost Rider, makes a not too subtle reference to Easy Rider by telling Cage, "Nice bike", when he sees the chopper for the first time...movie fun!

Wild Hogs and Worlds Fastest Indian.

I love road trips and Wild Hogs captured the spirit of the open road.  How could you not like
Bert Munro after watching Worlds Fastest Indian?  Loved the part where the younger bikers
came up and gave him some money.

If you liked the movie you should read the book. It is one of those rare books that you just can't seem to put down. The book is titled One Good Run. That movie and On Any Sunday are my favorite bike movies. I have a soft spot for living in the real world. Cool

Surprised no one brought up 'Harley Davidson and the Marlbro Man'. My favorite. Mickey Rourke and Don Johnson and a whole list of celebs.  Evil
