 Grin

Folks, you know I wouldn't lie about something like this.  In fact, for a huge bunch of you that know me, you know I wouldn't lie period.....

Anyway, I have been promising to see if I could bring a laptop for one of our drivers, Quintino, for almost a year now and just haven't had time, money, etc to bring him one.  Well, he saw the little Accer Netbook that I brought (with the DVD/CD player/burner) and he wanted it.  I told him I thought with tax it was like $320-$330 or something but he could have it for $300 (with an Angolan plug and a memory stick).  He also wanted the DVD/CD and I didn't want to take all his house money.....THe player/burner was like $90 or something.

SO.....Guess what he got the kit and kaboodle for?

I swear I am not making this up.....

$300 and 9 bottles of Gin - IS THAT A DEAL OR WHAT!  $300 up front and 9 bottles of Gin upon demand!  uglystupid2 uglystupid2

What can I say - he is happy and I AM DANG SURE GOING TO BE HAPPY!!!!

Whoooooooo-Hoooooooooooo!!!

Ok, Ok, for some reason I am feeling sorry for the little feller......

Tomorrow, I am going to tell him that when I leave out in a week, he can have the speakers to boot!

I just need them now also, so I can I watch Easy Rider and Gods and Generals and hear it until I leave....

OK, OK.....I have watched Gods and Generals twice already and Easy Rider a half dozen times - so much better after you watch the documentary on the DVD...... Plus, he got to see part of Easy Rider before he bought it - in my room.

OK, I also got to see the Bario he lives in on the way to Petrobras today....

ALRIGHT ALREADY!!!!!  I will give him the speakers for free tomorrow morning....couldn't hear anything (like movies) without them.....

OK - CONSIDER IT DONE!  Angry

Hey if everybody is happy, It's all good. A girl I worked with needed a laptop for college a few years ago. All se had to trade was a Saddle. I traded a $400 Dell, wireless router, and set up her network for a $1200 Billy Cook Pro Cutter. I definatly got the better end of that trade. Here is a picture of my boy and the saddle.
