Well, Texas did what Connecticut failed to do! They will be playing Hawaii on Saturday for the US Little League championship in Williamsport. cooldude

Congratulations again, and best of luck! Hey Hayhauler, how big a town is Pearland?

Well, Valkahuna, it just wasn't meant to be.  Our Pearland boys are 3rd or 4th in the world!!  Yea, they choked on Saturday, and just coulnd't get the bats going.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Pearland is about 90,000 now, was 12,000 when we moved here.  There are still 2 distinct towns that call themselves one.  There is old town Pearland and the new Pearland (metropolis) out to the West.

Anyway, we have the consolation game today to determine 3rd or 4th in the WORLD!!

Pearland has always been a Major Baseball town and always will be.

No shame in what those boys did. I'm sure everyone in Pearland is proud, and they'll get a heros welcome home. They will remember this the rest of their lives. Congrats again!
