Hey Everyone ! I just got back from my ride up to Mount Evans. It was a totally beautiful day & a super ride. Up at the top it was windy & VERY COLD!!! It was in the 30's. I was dressed for it tho because I knew it would be cold. It never fails. I met some nice bike riders up there. One was from Germany & he had a cool bike...a crotch rocket that they do not make or sell in this country. He said it felt like his hands were frozen. I was stationed in Germany back in the mid-fifties & believe me it gets cold over there. I was surprised he thought it was cold up there at the top. There were a ton of Harley riders up there. Everyone is trying to get some good riding time in before next month when it start snowing up there. If you have not been to Colorado on a motorcycle & if you do come here, be sure to ride to the top of Mount Evans. Have a good week next week. Ride safe ALL. tommy t IBA 1990

Sounds like a good day    My only experience with CO riding was the first InZane held there...  Lets just say the the mountain riding was intimidating

It's all a matter of what you're used to I reckon. One thing about riding in the Rockies in Colorado is to pay close attention to the speed limit signs...sure you can go a little over but when a curve on a mountain road says 10 MPH it's a good thing to slow way down as a deer or elk or moose or some other animal may be standing in the road in that curve or a rock or boulder. NEVER let others push you faster than what YOU feel comfortable with. I sure don't. Happy riding. tommy t IBA 1990

I rode to the top of Mt. Evans a couplke years ago and loved it. I've recommended it a 1000 times as well. What an awesome view.
