reaction time is: .75 seconds....... or 1 car length for every 10 mph......

Fun, but I think an average time of a quarter of a second is "better than average," if "average" is about .75 sec... (and I'll be 55 in about 10 days).

 Darn you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I did get a "Rocketing Rabbit". Funny as it was not my fastest average. I popped a couple of .048's by using my old drag racing anticipation technique but had a "jumped the gun" too. So it just called me a Snail for a .1788 average. Got a 0.1798 average by having .218-.218-.243-.172-.048. Gotta keep trying!!!!!

I made it to Bobcat status...without my morning coffee.
I think most on this board will do better than average since we are not on the top of the food chain when it comes being on the wild tundra of our road system. There is just something about always thinking that you are going to get killed that forces you to be a little bit faster than "average".

Great....now you just caused me to kill more time. Addictive...yes!  Kinda interesting to compare times however, guess I'm still able to compete with a .210 average on the first run and .199 on the second. Not too bad for an old fart in his 70's. On the third run I also tried Eddie's "anticipation" approach used back in my drag racing days, and blew it big time. But then I remembered....back then we used the arm drop, didn't have the "tree" for a starter. |
