im looking for a used or new front fender for my 2000 standard valk.. does anyone know where i can get one reasonably in cost...thanks

I like the look of the VTX/C fender on the Valk and it is a painless upgrade. You can get a used fender on the VTX Classified http://www.vtxoa.com/ or on Ebay and then buy the brackets at HDL. There is a writeup on the install I believe at Dag's web site.

Actually it was Quexpress in Montreal that did the beautiful writeup on the VTX fnder install

Note that when you change the Valkyrie front fender for another non-Valkyrie front fender you will not be able to mount the protectors for the sliding section of the shock tubes.

Fastidious cleaning will put off the degradation of the tubes.

Actually the protectors for the VTX work great in conjunction with the VTX fender and VTX brackets. They are called out in the Quexpress stocklist.
