Why would anyone shave a cow like that?

My prayers for the one person injured.  With that few people on board, it must have been a production platform - not a drilling rig.  At least everyone was rescued - that is all that matters.

Wonder if HotGlue was on board.

I kind of remember fb says he was out in the Gulf assisting.

Sending thoughts, prayers and anything else needed for the 13 members and their families.

HG is out there but is floating around on a boat....his responsibilities has nothing to do with that platform...hopefully he was no where close...I have not heard from him...he is working nights and should be asleep right now...I'm sure he'll call this evening...thanks for thinking of him

That's good news, FB.  We always worry some when we hear of stuff like this happening out in the gulf. Glad no one was killed.

Someone will probably correct me...but the moratorium is for drilling new wells...the ones in place can still operate..

What does the data say?

My understanding is that the info is incorrect.  There is no active drilling on the platform where the explosion occurred; no oil was spilled or is spilling.

Wrong.  No oil seen.  This was a platform, not a drilling rig.  Doing workover, not drilling.
