Looking for s volunteer to schuck oysters to BBQ???? 

Anybody?

Party menu is coming along nicely.  Trying to incorporate good cajun food & Halloween.  Planning chicken gumbo with tasso & sausage, pork with pistolettos, boudin, and much more. 

If you signed up for the romp, please send me your email address.  I am sending out a maps of thge ride, schedules, menu, & places to eat breakfast or alternatives if Cajun isn't your thing!

Desert rat - just come and taste!!   If there is nothing you like, I promise to make you something you will like.  I am an Yankee who learned to cook Cajun from some really aweso
e coonasses...  They even gave me a certificate stating I now qualify as Cajun (I think it's debatable since I never leave bones in my gumbo)!!!

Me and Des are really looking forward to the Romp!!  Get to see some missed friends and meet some new ones.  Finally get to taste some of that fine cajun cuisine..

I don't know about shuckin ..... usually stick the knife.... and it's dull.... in my hand!!!!  that's why they wear a chain mail... or kevlar glove on the hand holdin the oyster...! LOL   But I could bring a gallon of shucked oysters!!!!  LOL

Bring the gallon!  Not sure how we will BBQ them on the pit but I bet I can find a couple good recipes to use the shucked ones in.
