Yeah,,,,,It's a HEMI

I bought my Day-Long in November.  After riding to Inzane, I decided to have some minor adjustments made to the seat.  I called and spoke with the guy who built my seat, and told him what problems I had, and what I wanted him to do.  He gave me a date to send him the seat (at my cost), and said he'd have it back out at the end of that week at their cost.  He shipped it on the promised date, and it arrived on schedule via UPS.  He told me this was all part of the 18 month guarantee when buying the seat.   That means I have until next May to decide if everything's good to go.  I can send it back again for more adjustments if needed.  I rode it a short distance this evening, since the temperature got low enough to avoid heatstroke.   I'll have a better handle on the adjustments he made after riding it more.  We've got the Texas Ride on OCT 8th, so that should give me a short stretch to test it.  I told some folks I'd post this update after telling them my seat was back at the custom shop.  I'm very pleased with the service and the product so far.  I'll get back later with more updates on the "new" seat mods.  GJ

I like the narrower front by the tank! I bought my bike with the Corbin on it. Not as impressed with it as I was with the Corbin on the V65. Took a 128 mile ride today and my butt was tired.  Took a 2k ride on the V65 with the Corbin and was very happy even after a 250 mile day.

Rode the first day of the trip to Inzane a total of 675 miles to Topeka from Houston, and never had a problem.  My Corbin would have got me off the bike well before Dallas.  To each their own.

I meant the Corbin came on the bike I bought! He did not have the OEM.

I got mine "used", and as luck would have it... fit me to a "T".  Had to have it rebuilt once, at 100,000 miles (total), my stitching between the side of the saddle and the seating portion is showing some wear... I'll have to re-cover it at some point... but, it's the best saddle I've had.  Did Seattle/Zanesville for IZ3 in three days (2,700 miles), return trip in four days, then 3 days later... rode an iron butt.  (1,000 miles in 24hrs)

I put 40,000 miles on a Mustang and traded it off after getting my Russell... and put about 6,000 miles on an Ultimate while I was having the Russell rebuilt and gave that thing away as soon as I got my Russell back... I'd take a 2000/newer OEM saddle over that thing.  Way too soft, and didn't like havin' the twins shoved so far up that they were hangin' out my nose.   2funny
