I only realized later that my camera was turned on when we came upon Jeff's crash site... it
had been raining and water was on the lens... a couple of other folks (including a student nurse,
thank God...) had already stopped...

The little camera was set to take a picture every 5 seconds... in less than one minute (nine pictures)
a real nurse happened along... another lady who passed by and realized there were nurses present
said "God is good", and it is true...

Joe was great talking to Jeff and comforting him, while the nurses did their job...

Joe didn't know how to get Patricia's number off Jeff's phone, so he gave it to me, I had no
clue either... the young nursing student knew exactly how to do it... the ambulance had arrived
by then...

The police showed up next, they took care of getting Jeff's bike towed...

When they were ready to roll, we left too...

I can only say that the last 20 miles in was surreal...

Then the rain started again...

I pulled up next to Joe at this intersection, he looked over at me and said, "I'm
all bummed out, man..."

I hope it was OK to post these pictures, it seemed wrong to just leave them on my
hard drive after I found them...

Thanks.

What's the word on Fortyniner?

I have not read thru the board yet, so if it's otherwise posted, I apologize.

Joe said it was Turd Floater of a Rain and those Pictures prove that.

Jeff will be back on that sweet looking Valk and 100% soon,,,,,,,,,, is my hope and prayer.

Man... I KNOW exactly how that feels to watch your friends hurting like that, especially after watching a car "U-turn" right infront of them at speed and go down.    tickedoff

Hope he heals up quickly and correctly.   Sad

It's a good post Mike.

Except the accident itself, everything else that happened was all good.

We all need reminded of our mortality now and then.    There but for God.........

That little camera of yours reminds me of a cop's dash cam.
