Many of you guys have way more knowledge about all things automotive that I do so I hope you can help.
When I bought the wife's '06 toyota Camry (new) I had the stock steel wheels and hubcaps replaced with nicer aluminum wheels. They are essentially brand new. The darn things have been stored in my garage ever since and I would love to sell them and get 'em out of my way. They're taking up space in the Valk's slot! Now this is Valk related.
I suspect the 15", 5 lug steel wheels would fit a lot of different cars. The hubcaps of course probably would only appeal to a Toyota owner.
Any idea what would be a fair price to ask?
I've never sold anything on Craigslist and don't have a clue what they should sell for.
If it is rims only it is a tough sell. They will not fit a variety of cars because all of the newer front wheel drive cars require hub centric wheels for a smooth ride. That is the center hole of the wheel fits perfectly and tight over the hub of the car. Older cars were lug centric, meaning they centered off the mounting lugs. In areas with winter weather some folks are looking for an extra set of rims to run snow tires on, so we are getting close to that time of the year. I buy steel OE take off wheels for my customers from an outfit in Sacramento for $20 each wholesale delivered to Reno, Nevada.
