1. I learned that Strider will go thru a lot of trouble to be able to be with his friends, his bike broke down just a few miles from home and he still limped it all the way to Natchez, along the way having to pull his gas tank and work on his petcock that gave him trouble all the way and arriving with a dead battery to boot
……with the help of Punisher
the problems got solved enough that he continued on…thanks Warren always a good time when you’re around…
2. I learned that Flamingobabe who was traveling with Strider, will not desert you in your hour of need…..Strider repeatly told her to go on without him and she refused….saying you wouldn’t leave me would you?...you wouldn’t would you??
3. I learned while traveling with a group and you have a break down there are usually enough tools, parts and skill around to fix most anything….such as Joe’s bad valve stem that let go on the trip, we managed to get it repaired behind a Sear’s store without a jack and we continued on our journey…all is good.
4. I learned that DDT now has over 406 thousand mile on his bike and it still runs great and looks good…..I bet there are a lot of stories that bike could tell….hats off to you Bruce,
you put a new meaning into being a Far Rider…
5. I learned that Bamadrifter still hasn’t supervalked that good looking blue machine of his…..says he has all the parts and looking forward to getting it done this winter……..I think that’s what he said last winter….
6. I learned that Hobo got himself a new bike, a good looking tourer with low mileage……lot’s of extra’s…..good to meet you and we’ll do it again….
7. I learned that hupcap should change his handle to Pathfinder….this guy can find roads to ride across different states that even the local’s don’t know about…what if some of them turn into dirt, it still goes where he wants to be

8. I learned that Wimp is really enjoying his new Valk….its always fun to see the Valkyrie smile
come across the faces of new valk riders when they talk about there find...
9. I learned that visiting the Rune’s was like seeing the Roman Coliseum in America…
10. Everybody learned that a steady pace of 60 mph the valk gets pretty good gas mileage, Punisher set his curise control on 60 and set the pace for 444 miles…
11. I learned that VRRC members can hold a party anywhere and have a good time, standing on the corner or in the parking lot there is always something going on and everyone is involved
….I got to see people I met on the Shiloh ride, Slowroad who met a Hotwings restaurant, its always good to see these folks again and they are always smiling and have a genuine interest in you and your bike…
12. I learned that the people who put these ride on and the staff that provide the VRCC events, give you place to go and enjoy the company of folks who have the same interest…they give you a reason to ride and a place to party….Punisher and Smokin’joe are two of many that take the time to get the rest of us kick started and off the couch…..I’m sure everyone enjoyed this trip, everyone was smiling when we arrived and they were still smiling when they left..that’s saying it all….what ever else I learned I forgot
