Sorry about the tire question but I need to replace both tires on my IS and am thinking of going to Avon's.  I have E3's now but the front tire wobbled from day 1.  The question I'd like to ask is what's the best size for the rear?  I have a 180/70 R16 now but was wondering about a 200/60 R16.  Is there any riding difference or fit problems?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks!

I've never had one, but lots of other folks have run a 200/60/R16 on the rear.  May require removing the nut cages on the fender (easy modification).

Do a forum search for "battle axe" and you will get lots of information.

On sale at HDL for $160.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

I went to the 200 mm Metzler and loved it. Had 3 of them before I went to the CT. Did have to do the nut cage. It was fine 1 up but 2 up it rubbed. It felt more stable then a 180. In mud it had great traction. It wore a flat spot in the middle but what tire don't?
